Scarlet Macaws precarious coexistence with humans on the right track with high quality conservation related media

Many visitors to Costa Rica lately have been priviledged to enjoy frequent sightings of Ara Macao, the scarlet macaw and this seems normal. However it wasnt always that common to see them close as these magnificent birds were decimated in a variety of ways from illegal pet shop traders to loggers, poachers and miners. Now developers encroach as well yet we all need to live together. The following photographs illustrate a wild moment in this amazing birds colorful, raucous and captivating existence.
