Here are a few signs from nearby and typical beaches in Costa Ricas central Pacific coast area. In a recent walkabout in the notoriously fowled mouth of the River Tarcoles and adjacent beaches I found many signs of human activities that favor the beach goers experience. I found decent beach latrines hidden behind flower hedges at playa Bochinche. The beach was perfectly clean of plastic and well marked with clean trash receptacles and clear instructions on trash disposal.
My walk continued through the Tarcolitos riverbed through mangroves at the mouth of the Agujas Beach also managed and cleaned by the Garabito Municipal officers and they are awesome examples of true beach pride with their Ecological Blue Flags displayed along side of information placards. The beaches were all peculiarly clean and devoid of almost all litter types, even trash food packaging!

Visiting these beaches and seeing the signs of a growing movement towards our natural responsabilities to Mother Earth and of course the Grand Universe we float so effortlessly in proved silently to me its uplifting nature and bouyed my hopefull spirits.
